Stuffed Clam Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 c. herbed stuffing mix
  • 4 cans minced or chopped clams, drained
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 3/4 stick margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/8 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Put stuffing mix in bowl; add clam liquid (gradually).
  2. Let stand until liquid is absorbed.
  3. Add parsley, lemon juice, Worcestershire and seasonings.
  4. Melt margarine in small pan; add chopped celery and onions and saute until soft.
  5. Add this mixture to stuffing mix and lastly the clams.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Put in casserole; top with Parmesan cheese and paprika.
  8. Bake in moderate oven until hot.
