Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Saute raw macaroni, onion, green pepper, and garlic in hot cooking oil just until macaroni turns slightly yellow.
  2. Add tomato paste, water, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cover and simmer over low heat about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Check and add more water if needed during cooking.
