Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Stove Top long grain and wild rice stuffing mix
  • 6 Cornish game hens
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup orange juice or white wine

Instructions

  1. Prepare stuffing as directed on the package.
  2. Do not stuff hens until ready to roast.
  3. Rinse hens with cold water and pat dry.
  4. Rub neck and body cavities with salt and pepper.
  5. Lightly stuff cavities with prepared stuffing.
  6. Roast hens at 400°F for 1 hour.
  7. Place any remaining stuffing in a small baking dish and bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile, heat orange juice and butter; baste hens frequently during the last 30 minutes of roasting.
