Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground meat
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • 54 oz. water
  • 4 cups chopped peppers (green, yellow, red)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. beef base

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef, onions, and garlic in a large pot.
  2. Drain excess fat from the meat mixture.
  3. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, chopped peppers, brown sugar, and beef base to the pot.
  4. Cook on the stove for 35 to 40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
  5. Add instant rice and cook for an additional 5 minutes until rice is heated through.
