Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 2 tsp finely shredded orange peel
  • 4 (5-6 oz.) salmon fillets
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Prepare the stuffing by sautéing the chopped onion in olive oil until translucent.
  3. Mix the cooked onion with bread crumbs, water, and shredded orange peel.
  4. Cut a slit in each salmon fillet to create a pocket for stuffing.
  5. Fill each fillet with the prepared stuffing.
  6. Season the fillets with lemon pepper.
  7. Place the stuffed salmon fillets on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
