Ingredients

  • sucker fish in 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • vinegar
  • catsup
  • Wesson oil
  • canning salt

Instructions

  1. Scale and clean the fish; dry well.
  2. Cut the fish into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
  3. Place the fish pieces skin side down in pint jars.
  4. In each jar, add 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 tablespoon catsup, 1 tablespoon Wesson oil, and 1 teaspoon canning salt.
  5. Seal the jars and process in a pressure canner for 90 minutes at 10 pounds pressure.
