Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pound walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, melt butter on Medium-high (microwave) for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Microwave on High for 2 minutes.
  3. Mix well to combine butter and sugar.
  4. Add nuts and mix to coat.
  5. Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes.
  6. Spread out onto waxed paper and cool slightly. Serve warm or cold.
