Summer Cucumbers

Ingredients

  • 7 c. sliced cucumbers
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice cucumbers thin.
  2. Slice onion in rings; slice bell pepper.
  3. Put in large bowl.
  4. Add sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed to cucumber mixture.
  5. Stir with a wooden spoon.
  6. Stir several times before refrigerating.
  7. Keep refrigerated.
