Sundae Chocolate Cups

Instructions
- Combine the semi-sweet morsels and shortening in a heatproof bowl over hot (not boiling) water.
- Stir until the morsels are melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Use a spoon or brush to coat the inside of each foil cupcake liner with the chocolate mixture.
- Hold each liner in your hand and rotate gently, using a rubber spatula to spread the chocolate up the sides.
- Place the coated liners in muffin pans.
- Chill until the chocolate shells are firm.
- Once firm, peel off the foil liners and return the shells to the muffin pan.
- Chill until ready to serve.
- Remove the shells from the muffin pan and place them on a serving plate.
- Fill each shell with a scoop of softened ice cream.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Garnish with fresh fruit.
