Instructions
- Drain the green beans and mushrooms.
- Set aside the drained beans and mushrooms.
- Fry the bacon until crisp.
- Remove bacon and set aside.
- Pour out the bacon grease.
- Saute the diced onion and mushrooms in the bacon fat.
- Add crumbled bacon and green beans to the sauteed mixture.
- Mix well, then turn heat to low, cover, and heat for 15 minutes.
- Slice Velveeta cheese and place strips on top of the beans.
- Cover until the cheese melts.
- Stir the melted Velveeta into the beans and serve.
