- Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt together. Combine beaten egg yolks, milk and melted butter; blend thoroughly.
- Add liquid mixture all at one time to dry ingredients; mix only until batter is smooth.
- Fold in beaten egg whites and bake on hot waffle iron.
- Makes 8 waffles.
