A hearty brunch casserole combining flaky crescent rolls, eggs, cheese, and optional meats and vegetables, perfect for gatherings like Super Bowl or weekend brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Little Sizzlers (sausage or ham)
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag grated Cheddar cheese
  • 6 to 8 eggs

Instructions

  1. Lightly butter a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Lay the crescent rolls in the bottom of the dish and flatten them.
  3. In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, salt, and pepper to taste, resembling an omelette mixture.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the rolls in the casserole dish.
  5. Drop pieces of Little Sizzlers (sausage or ham) into the egg mixture and sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 45 minutes, until the casserole is firm.
