Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 thin slices ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Shake 'n Bake seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts flat.
  2. Place a slice of ham and Swiss cheese on each chicken piece.
  3. Roll the chicken around the ham and cheese.
  4. Coat the rolled chicken with Shake 'n Bake seasoning.
  5. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours, covered.
  6. Remove from refrigerator 15 to 30 minutes before baking.
  7. Bake in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Place in a shallow dish, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Prepare the sauce by mixing egg yolk, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
  10. Mix well and spoon the sauce over the baked chicken.
  11. Bake for an additional 15 minutes before serving.
