Sweet Dill Chips offer a delightful combination of tangy vinegar, sweet sugar, and fresh dill, perfect as a snack or garnish for sandwiches and salads.

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. kosher whole dills
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. water

Instructions

  1. Drain pickles and slice; layer with onion back into jar or several smaller jars.
  2. Boil sugar, water, and vinegar for 3 minutes.
  3. Pour over to cover and put lids on tightly.
  4. Let sit on counter for 3 days, then refrigerate.
