Ingredients

  • 1 (46 oz.) bottle Vlasic kosher dill
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spices
  • boiling water

Instructions

  1. Drain the pickle jar and pour boiling water to cover the pickles that you have cut into spears.
  2. Chill and leave overnight.
  3. Bring to a boil the vinegar, sugar, and pickling spices.
  4. Boil for 5 minutes.
  5. Drain the pickles and pour the vinegar mixture over the pickles to cover.
  6. Let set for 14 days.
