Ingredients

  • venison steaks
  • 6 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 2 tsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Brown the venison steaks in vegetable oil and place them in a covered roasting pan.
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients (brown sugar and mustard) to create a sauce, then cover the steaks with this sauce.
  3. Bake at 400°F for approximately 20 minutes per pound, basting frequently with the sauce.
