Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
  • 1/2 lb bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1/2 lb Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup light cream, milk or half and half
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Bake the pastry shell at 450°F for 7 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle fried and crumbled bacon and shredded Swiss cheese on the bottom of the shell.
  3. Slightly beat eggs, milk, and salt together.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared shell.
  5. Bake at 250°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
