Taco Bites are flavorful mini snacks featuring seasoned ground beef wrapped in crispy pizza dough and topped with cheese, perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 cup taco sauce
  • 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (10 oz.) package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup shredded American or Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a small skillet until browned; drain off fat.
  2. Stir in taco sauce, chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder; set aside.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Cut pizza dough into small squares or circles.
  5. Place dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spoon a small amount of beef mixture onto each dough piece.
  7. Fold or roll the dough around the filling to enclose it.
  8. Beat the egg and brush over the tops of the dough pockets.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Serve warm.
