Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz.) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups corn or tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Place ground beef in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  2. Cook on full power for 4 to 5 1/2 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Stir halfway through cooking time.
  3. Drain the cooked beef.
  4. In a saucepan, combine tomato sauce, water, and taco seasoning mix. Cook until heated through.
  5. Chop lettuce and cut tomatoes into wedges.
  6. Arrange lettuce on a serving platter.
  7. Top with cooked ground beef, tomato wedges, shredded Cheddar cheese, and crushed chips.
  8. Serve immediately.
