Ingredients

  • 8 qt popped corn
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sorghum molasses
  • 1/4 cup light Karo syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Measure popcorn in a large pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt margarine.
  3. Stir in light brown sugar, sorghum molasses, light Karo syrup, and vanilla.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn.
  7. Bake at 250°F in 2 large baking pans for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and stir.
  9. Repeat baking and stirring 3 more times or until the mixture is crisp.
