Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seed

Instructions

  1. Combine teriyaki sauce and sugar in a small bowl.
  2. Add chicken and marinate for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove chicken from marinade and reserve 2 tablespoons of marinade.
  4. Combine reserved marinade, water, and cornstarch; set aside.
  5. Heat oil in a hot wok or skillet over medium heat.
  6. Stir-fry chicken and toasted sesame seeds for 2 minutes.
  7. Add the cornstarch mixture and cook, stirring until the mixture boils, thickens, and the chicken is tender, about 1 minute.
