Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Texas shrimp (at least 26 to 30)
  • 1 1/2 oz. prepared shrimp boil
  • 1 small sliced onion
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 1 clove sliced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Place 1 1/2 quarts of water in a large boiler pot.
  2. Add the prepared shrimp boil, sliced onion, sliced lemon, sliced garlic, and salt to the water.
  3. Cover and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Add the shrimp to the boiling water and return to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes until the shrimp are tender.
  6. Drain the shrimp and ingredients from the water.
  7. Serve the shrimp with Rockport Red Sauce.
