Spicy jalapeño peppers stuffed with cheesy filling, battered and fried to crispy perfection — a bold, flavorful snack perfect for parties or bold appetites.

Ingredients

  • jalapeño peppers
  • Cheez Whiz
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Slit the jalapeño peppers lengthwise and remove the veins and seeds.
  2. Stuff the peppers with Cheez Whiz.
  3. Mix approximately 2 cups of flour with 1/2 cup of cornmeal, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs with approximately 2 tablespoons of milk.
  5. Dip each stuffed pepper into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally back into the flour mixture.
  6. Drop the coated peppers into a Fry Daddy or deep fryer and cook until they are light brown.
