- Cut up the sausage.
- Combine all ingredients except the Spanish rice into a crock-pot.
- Add 6 cups of water and the spice packet from the rice.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours.
- Stir in the remaining rice from the rice mix.
- Cover and cook on low for 1 hour or on high for 45 minutes.
