Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 lb. brisket
  • 1/2 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
  • potatoes
  • carrots

Instructions

  1. Put the brisket in a roasting pan, fat side up.
  2. Add the Heinz chili sauce, chopped large onion, Lipton onion soup mix, garlic salt, and water to 1 inch in the pan.
  3. Cover and bake at 350°F for 3 to 4 hours.
  4. Add potatoes and carrots during the last hour of baking.
