Ingredients

  • 1 medium jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch cilantro, rinsed and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Use caution with seeds, they give the heat, and can burn your eyes if you touch them after handling the seeds.
  2. Combine jalapeno, scallions, cilantro, soy sauce, lime juice, and garlic in a bowl.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Use this marinade to flavor your choice of protein or vegetables.
