- Remove excess fat from the brisket, then score across the meat at a diagonal with a sharp knife.
- Place the brisket in a roaster.
- Mix together cocktail sauce, dry soup mix, and Coke.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the brisket.
- Cover and bake for 3 to 4 hours at 300° to 325° Fahrenheit until fork-tender.
- Remove the brisket from the juices and let it cool.
- Wrap the brisket in foil and refrigerate.
- Put the juices into a container and refrigerate.
- The next day, slice the beef. Remove fat from the top of the juices and pour over the slices.
- Reheat the slices in the microwave before serving.
