The U-Bomb Burger
Ingredients
- 4 lbs ground beef ⓘ
- 4 tablespoons fish sauce ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon sugar ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon black pepper ⓘ
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed and mushed ⓘ
- portabella mushroom, grilled and sliced (optional) ⓘ
- asiago cheese (high umami factor) (optional) ⓘ
- cooked bacon (optional) ⓘ
- vegetables, to make the burger look pretty (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the fish sauce, sugar, pepper and garlic in with the ground beef and let it sit for about half an hour.
- Meanwhile, preheat the BBQ to medium high.
- Form the ground meat into patties and put them on the grill.
- Grill until the burgers are cooked through.
- Layer your burger with your various umami ingredients: mushrooms, cheese, burger, bacon and veggies and enjoy.
