Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. salad oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare food to be fried.
  2. Dry food before dipping in batter. Heat fat or oil to 375°F.
  3. Beat ingredients for batter until smooth.
  4. Coat prepared food with flour.
  5. With tongs or fork, dip food into batter, allowing excess batter to drop into bowl.
  6. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
