Instructions
- Cover beans with water and soak overnight; drain.
- Add water and ham.
- Boil; simmer for 3 hours.
- Add rest of ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Dish and serve.
- This soup also freezes nicely.
