Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pecans on the bottom of a greased 9-inch square pan.
  2. Combine brown sugar and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil for 7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and spread the mixture over the pecans.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over the top.
  5. Cover the pan so the heat will melt the chocolate.
  6. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the top.
  7. Cut into squares while warm and refrigerate to set.
