Instructions
- Cut into pieces (as for soup) the first 3 ingredients.
- Add a little salt.
- Simmer in the juice of the tomatoes.
- Add water sparingly to cover until tender.
- Add cut up tomatoes and green beans.
- Add 3 to 4 tablespoons margarine.
- Simmer, adding one tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in water to thicken.
