Ingredients

  • 2 c. shell macaroni
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. cooked, cubed chicken, turkey or ham
  • 1 1/2 c. pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 c. grapes or chopped apple
  • 1 c. cubed Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add cooked, cubed chicken, turkey, or ham and cook until browned.
  3. Cool the meat mixture.
  4. Cook shell macaroni according to package directions and drain.
  5. Combine cooked shells, meat mixture, drained pineapple (reserving 2 tablespoons of juice), grapes or chopped apple, and cubed Cheddar cheese in a large bowl.
  6. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, pineapple juice, and salt to the mixture.
  7. Blend well and chill before serving.
