Ingredients

  • 2 qt. cabbage
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 2 green peppers
  • 4 medium onions
  • 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Grind together the cabbage, green and red peppers and onions. Bring vinegar, sugar and seasonings to boil.
  2. Serve over cabbage and other vegetables.
  3. Let sit 24 hours or longer.
  4. This will keep in refrigerator for a while.
