Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 prepared unbaked pie crust
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 or 4 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a saucepan.
  2. Add sugar and beat until dissolved.
  3. Add one well-beaten egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Fill the prepared unbaked pie crust with apple slices.
  5. Pour the margarine and sugar mixture over the apples and crust.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
