Ingredients

  • 21 oz. can cherry pie filling
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks melted butter
  • shredded coconut
  • chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Pour cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix together and spread evenly over the bottom of the pan.
  3. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the fruit mixture.
  4. Pat down lightly to distribute the cake mix.
  5. Pour melted butter over the cake mix layer.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top, as thick as you like.
  7. Add shredded coconut on top, as thick as you like.
  8. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 1 hour.
