Tuna Salad Stack Up
Ingredients
- 1 c. salad dressing (regular or light)
- 1/2 c. sour cream ⓘ
- 1/4 c. chopped dill pickles ⓘ
- 1/4 c. chopped onion ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. sweet milk ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard ⓘ
- 3 c. cooked rice, chilled ⓘ
- 2 c. cooked green peas ⓘ
- 1/4 c. finely chopped parsley ⓘ
- 3 c. shredded lettuce ⓘ
- 2 c. chopped tomatoes
- 2 (8 1/2 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine salad dressing, sour cream, pickles, onions, milk, and mustard.
- Mix well.
- Combine rice, peas, and parsley.
- In a 3 1/2-quart salad bowl, layer lettuce, rice mixture, tomatoes, tuna and cucumbers.
- Top with dressing.
- Cover; chill.
- Makes 10 to 12 servings.
