  1. Combine cake mix, cooking oil, and water in a bowl.
  2. Stir until moistened.
  3. Add eggs and stir until blended.
  4. Spread cherry pie filling on the bottom of a Tupperware 3-quart casserole with a cone inserted.
  5. Pour the prepared cake batter into the casserole over the pie filling.
  6. Microwave on 100% power for 14 minutes or until the cake begins to shrink away from the sides.
  7. Let stand for 20 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
  8. Enjoy your cherry topped chocolate cake.
  9. This recipe can also be made with apple or carrot pie fillings and spice cake mix, or with German chocolate cake mix and coconut pecan frosting for a self-frosted cake.
