Turkey Crescents are savory, flaky pastries filled with a flavorful turkey mixture, perfect for a quick lunch or appetizer that appeals to all ages.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 2 c. cooked turkey or chicken
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 pkg. crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of melted margarine until smooth.
  2. Add cooked turkey, salt, pepper, milk, and minced onion to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Separate the crescent roll dough into four rectangles.
  4. Place 1/2 cup of the turkey mixture into the center of each rectangle.
  5. Bring the four corners of each rectangle up and twist to seal.
  6. Brush the tops of the crescents with the remaining melted margarine.
  7. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, ideally with gravy.
