Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 small can tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry yeast with warm water and let it sit until frothy.
  2. Add the flour to the yeast mixture and blend well, then let the dough rise for 2 to 3 hours.
  3. In a large saucepan, brown the ground turkey over medium heat.
  4. Add diced green pepper and onion to the turkey and cook until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Add tomato paste, water, and the spaghetti sauce mix; simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Divide the risen dough into three equal parts and pat each into greased pizza pans.
  7. Spread the sauce over each pizza crust and sprinkle with shredded low-fat mozzarella.
  8. Bake in a 400°F oven until the cheese is lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes.
