Umm Ali (Dessert)
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter (unsalted) ⓘ
- 1/4 lb pastry dough (Phylo, stale) ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons hazelnuts (ground) ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons almonds (ground) ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons pistachio nuts (ground) ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons sugar (brown) ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons coconut (sweetened flakes) ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons raisins ⓘ
- 1 cup heavy cream ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Butter a 9 x 12 baking dish.
- Crumble pastry dough on bottom.
- Sprinkle hazelnuts, almonds, pistachio nuts, brown sugar, and raisins over crumbled pastry dough.
- Pour cream over the top evenly, sprinkle with cinnamon and bake until cream is bubbling and lightly browning for about 10 minutes.
- Serve with pistachio ice cream.
