Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 cups spaghetti sauce with meat
  • 8 oz. uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. cheese (Ricotta or cottage cheese)
  • 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, spread about 1 cup of spaghetti sauce with meat.
  2. Arrange a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  3. Top with some sauce, Ricotta or cottage cheese, shredded Mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and more sauce.
  4. Repeat the layering process, gently pressing lasagna pieces into the cheese mixture.
  5. End with a final layer of lasagna noodles.
  6. Pour the remaining sauce over the top, ensuring all lasagna pieces are covered with sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining shredded Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 55 minutes until lightly browned and bubbly.
  9. Let stand for about 15 minutes before serving.
