Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup margarine, softened
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • assorted flavorings
  • assorted food colorings

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, corn syrup, salt, and powdered sugar well.
  2. Divide the mixture and knead in desired flavorings and colorings.
  3. Shape the fondant into small balls and flatten.
  4. Garnish with pecans, cherry halves, walnuts, or other toppings.
