Ingredients

  • 10 slices white bread, day-old
  • 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 cup celery slices
  • 2 cups shredded Kraft sharp natural Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Kraft real mayonnaise
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Trim the crust from the bread slices, reserving the crusts.
  2. Cut the bread slices diagonally into quarters.
  3. Cut the reserved crusts into cubes.
  4. Combine bread cubes, chopped cooked chicken, celery slices, and 1 3/4 cups of shredded cheddar cheese; mix well.
  5. Spoon the mixture into an 11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish.
  6. Arrange the bread quarters over the chicken mixture.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, eggs, salt, and poultry seasoning; mix well.
  8. Gradually add milk to the mayonnaise mixture, mixing until blended.
  9. Pour the milk mixture over the bread in the dish.
  10. Sprinkle with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  11. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  12. Bake uncovered at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
  13. Garnish with celery leaves, if desired.
