- Cook tomatoes
- in their own juice and run through sieve to remove
- peel
- and
- seeds.
- Cook together the celery, onions and peppers in the 5 cups water until tender, then run through blender.
- Add
- salt,
- vinegar,
- sugar,
- vegetable
- mixture
- to tomatoes and
- mix
- well.
- Bring to a rolling boil and put into sterilized jars and seal while hot.
- Yields 9 quarts.
