Veal Piccata features tender veal cutlets in a bright, tangy lemon and white wine sauce, perfect for a sophisticated yet quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. veal cutlets
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 chicken flavor bouillon cube
  • 2 medium lemons

Instructions

  1. With a meat mallet, pound the veal cutlets to 1/8 inch thickness. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and coat with flour.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the veal in olive oil and butter until lightly browned on both sides.
  3. Reduce heat to low and proceed with the sauce preparation as desired.
