Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 pounds sausage
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Cube bread in a 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish; top with shredded Cheddar cheese, then add cooked and drained sausage.
  3. Mix together 4 eggs, 1 teaspoon mustard, and 2 cups milk; pour over the sausage and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Next morning, mix a can of cream of mushroom soup with 1 cup milk.
  5. Pour the mushroom soup mixture over the casserole.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 1 1/2 hours.
