  1. Remove any white outer edges from the venison steaks with a sharp knife.
  2. Place steaks on a large cutting board and tenderize by beating with a knife or meat tenderizer on both sides.
  3. Sprinkle the steaks lightly with salt and pepper on each side.
  4. Coat the steaks with all-purpose flour.
  5. Heat a skillet on medium heat and add oil.
  6. Gently place the steaks in the hot oil and cook on medium heat, turning as they brown.
  7. Turn the steaks more than once if needed, until they are well done and browned nicely.
  8. Remove the steaks to a serving platter.
  9. Garnish with red peppers, either cayenne or jalapeno, fresh or dried.
