Ingredients

  • 2 lb. venison steak
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 c. hot water
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. season salt
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut venison steak into small cubes.
  2. Saute chopped onions, meat, garlic, and season salt in 1 tablespoon butter until the meat becomes brown.
  3. Mix 1/2 cup flour with hot water to form a slurry.
  4. Pour the flour and water mixture into the skillet to form gravy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until the meat becomes tender.
