Very Good Tea is a refreshing, fruity beverage perfect for hot days or gatherings. Combining pineapple, orange, and lemon juices with sweetened tea and a fizzy twist of 7-Up or ginger ale, this drink offers a delightful balance of citrusy brightness and sweetness, appealing to all ages and tastes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add tea bags to 2 cups of boiling water and steep.
  3. In a separate pot, add 1 cup of water and 3 cups of sugar, then boil for 7 minutes without stirring to make a sugar syrup.
  4. Mix pineapple juice, orange juice, and lemon juice in a large container.
  5. Remove tea bags from the steeped tea and add the tea to the juice mixture.
  6. Add the sugar syrup to the juice and tea mixture, then let cool.
  7. Pour the cooled mixture into a gallon jug or large container.
  8. Fill half of the jug with the mixture and add 2 liters of 7-Up, Sprite, or ginger ale for fizz.
